As you have probably gathered, I’m Niki—Ki for short. By day, I'm a design alchemist wielding bold, vibrant color palettes and conjuring visual treats. By night, I’m a cozy gamer through and through, from exploring captivating virtual worlds to embarrassing myself in a round of Cranium. If you're ever down for a trivia night, I'm game!
For over a decade I've been freelancing in digital illustration, where my journey into digital design began with promoting my own artwork by creating brand assets and engaging layouts for my storefront. As I honed my skills, demand from fellow artists grew for designs for their own shops, and my work continued to expand from there until it became a career. I still draw, using it as a personal creative outlet where I dip my toe into character design to create unique and charismatic portraits my clients can’t wait to showcase.
Keeping me company with their mischievous feline charm are my ever-curious co-designers, Mocha and Matcha—though they also have a talent for turning my calm into (charming) chaos.
If you haven’t already guessed by now—I’m a bit of an indoor cat myself, but when I’m brave enough to stray from the confines of my climate controlled comfort zone, you might find me trying to stay upright on some skates—but even then I prefer the safety of a roller rink over bumpy park paths.

When I’m not balancing innovative choices with proven outcomes, you’ll find me also trying to stay upright on some skates—safely in the comfort of a roller rink—or clinging to a fake rock wall wondering how I’ll manage to get down this time, hopefully with less bruises than the last time.
Beyond my attempts to have a non-virtual hobby, I also have a love for digital painting—my creative outlet where I craft portraits with personality and perfectionism and dip my toes into character design to create unique and memorable figures my clients love to put their name to. The skills and insights I gain from painting translate into a keen eye for detail and a profound appreciation for visual storytelling in all my projects.
There’s also my two cats who keep me busy, Mocha and Matcha, my ever-curious co-designers, offering purrs of approval or disdain as I bring ideas to life. Together, we turn my creative office, and my home, into a whirlwind of inspiration and feline antics.
